Bid Information

The Global Games sponsored bids, “paid” or “partial paid,” are for team members and one coach. All sponsored team members must be on the floor during the team’s performance at The Global Games. Alternates/Substitutions and/or additional athletes are allowed but will not be funded. On The Global Games Roster, each athlete’s name will have to be identified as an original participant of the team that was on the floor where the bid was received, a substitute or an additional athlete. All names on the team rosters will be verified by the event producer who awarded the bid.

2017 BIDS AWARDED

For Bids won in the 2017 season, teams are permitted to change their
division by one level and division age by notification in writing to your event provider.

2018 BIDS AWARDED

For Bids won in the 2018 season, teams must compete in the same division they
competed in at the qualifying event where their bid was awarded.

ADDITIONS, SUBSTITUTIONS & ALTERNATES

Additional athletes, alternates and substitutions are allowed however if the team
is on a partial or paid bid the extra athletes will not be funded. As the paid bid only
covers those athletes who competed with the team when the bid was won.

DEADLINE FOR BID ACCEPTANCE

Bid winners who received their bid during the 2017 season, must confirm their
bids by filling in the Bid Acceptance Form by the 31 January 2018. Bid winners during
the 2018 season must accept bids within 2 weeks of the event date. Failing to accept
any bids by this date will be deemed a decline and the bid may be transferred to an alternate team
at the event producer’s discretion. A team may receive only one similar type bid to the
Global Games and must advise and decline any subsequent similar bid.

BOOKING & DEPOSIT DEADLINES

Bids received during the 2017 season and before the 1 September 2018, must have
their online registration complete by 1 October 2018 and deposit paid.
Invites/Bids received after 1 September 2018, must have their registration complete by
1 December 2018. All forms and full payment are due by 20 February 2017.
Hotels are likely to fill up prior to published deadlines.

MULTIPLE BIDS WON

For gyms who win 2 or more bids they will automatically receive an at large
bid for any other team at their gym to attend the Global Games.

AT LARGE BIDS

Recipients of at- large bids are eligible to compete at the Global Games, and are
required to pay for their own accommodation packages and all other related expenses.

PARTIAL PAID BIDS

Recipients of Partial Paid bids are eligible to compete at the Global Games,
and will receive 50% off the athlete registration and are required to pay for their
own accommodation and all other related expenses. Please note partial paid bids do
not include accommodation. To receive the full value of the partial paid bid you must stay
on the official accommodation package. Only those original athletes who competed
on the team when the “partial paid” bid was awarded are eligible to receive the value of the bid,
any alternate, substitute or additional athlete is permitted but will not be funded.

PAID BIDS

Recipients of Paid Bids receive 3 nights accommodation on the official package
and free athlete registration. The Athlete registration does not include the fee for crossover routines.
To receive the full value of the paid bid you must stay on the official accommodation package.
Only those original athletes who competed on the team when the “paid” bid was awarded
are eligible to receive the bid, any alternate, substitute or additional
athlete are permitted but will not be funded.

DANCE BIDS

If you receive a dance bid you are permitted to perform more than one dance
but they can not be in the same division and the $50 crossover fee will apply per dancer per routine.
Dance teams are permitted to change their dance and song
and choreography from the bid winning routine.
