Our goal for the Global Games is to make teams
and athletes feel privileged and honored
to compete on a Global Stage.
In past years we have required teams to win qualifying bids.

However, for 2025 we want to give teams certainty
so they can plan in advance, so no bids required!!!

We also think if you made it through 2 years of Covid
then that is qualification enough.

Partial Paid Bids - Recipients of Partial Paid bids will receive 100% off the athlete registration but are required to pay for their own accommodation and all other related expenses. Please note partial paid bids do not include accommodation. To receive the full value of the partial paid bid you must stay on the official accommodation package. Only those original athletes who competed on the team when the “partial paid” bid was awarded are eligible to receive the value of the bid, any alternate, substitute or additional athlete is permitted but will not be funded.
Fully Paid Bids - Recipients of Fully Paid bids receive 3 nights accommodation on the official package and free athlete registration. To receive the full value of the fully paid bid you must stay on the official accommodation package. Only those original athletes who competed on the team when the “fully paid” bid was awarded are eligible to receive the bid, any alternate, substitute or additional athlete are permitted but will not be funded.
