Qualification process
Our goal for the International Dance + Cheer Games (“the D+C Games”) is to make teams and athletes feel privileged and honored to receive a qualifying invite. We want only the best from each country to be represented at the D+C Games, so a true international champion can be found.
You may be the best in your country in your particular division – but now you get the chance to be the best in the world!
There are two ways to qualify to play at the D+C Games:
- You can win a qualifying invite at one of our Sanctioned Event Partners competitions; or
- You can be drafted into the Games by being selected as a Qualifying Cheer or Dance Partner.

The players draft
Our selectors are currently scanning the globe for three cheerleading and dance programs from each country who will automatically qualify to attend the D+C Games. We have very limited numbers of qualifying invites available, so we are taking great care in evaluating each player, to this end we will follow the guidelines as set out below:
- Gym/studio background
- Number of years in business
- Number of teams and locations
- Competitive success of the gym/studio across all divisions
- Positive impact and reputation in the Industry

Wild card draft
If your gym or dance studio has not been drafted into the Games you may apply below to be considered for our wild card pick. There is one cheer and one dance wild card pick per country.
